CPD Düsseldorf from 22 to 24 July 2007:
The entire world of womenswear in Europe’s largest sales market
- Stability in exhibitor figures is confirmed by CPD Düsseldorf with 1,050 exhibitors
representing a total of more than 1,430 brands from 38 countries for the July event in the exhibition halls and Düsseldorf Fashion House. The largest participating foreign contingents come from the Netherlands, Italy, France, Denmark and Spain
- Growth in first-time exhibitors or the return of previously absent exhibitors mainly in special segments such as Personality, Supersize or Maternity
- Fashion Gallery as usual already fully booked at an early stage
- Positive consumer climate once again places the focus on Germany as the export
brand for foreign manufacturers. German manufacturers use the trade fair platform to position themselves in their own country.
- The current market situation is strongly characterized by new orientations in
collections produced by the most diverse manufacturers. Only a trade fair enables
the transparent repositioning in the correct competitive environment.
- Consistent brand concentration: CPD is controlling the current developments and
creating a clear orientation with changed product range structures. The first steps
have already been initiated.
- Strict sub-division into homogenous segments and the presentation or
concentration in own “Villages” with special groupings provide buyers with an
optimized overview
