| The FNAEM and the Salon du Meuble! |
The FNAEM and the COSP are renewing their partnership, to ensure the continued success of the Salon du Meuble
Eager to promote the Salon du Meuble as an important trade event for the French home furnishings industry, the FNAEM (French Furniture Trade Association) and the COSP (Trade-fair organiser) have renewed their partnership for the 2007 exhibition.
The FNAEM has set itself the objective of favouring any initiative that aims to make the profession more dynamic. As a result, it is keen to see the Salon du Meuble fully play its role as a key professional meeting place for the Home Furnishings sector, from manufacture to distribution. Two FNAEM representatives will now sit on the Exhibition Committee, to represent the distribution side of the trade.
By announcing the organisation, in halls 3, 7-1, 7-2 and 7-3, of a strictly professional exhibition that is closed to the general public, the COSP has responded to the wishes of traders and their federation, that is, to see the event regain a trade-only side. It will provide the FNAEM and its members with various services to facilitate their visit to the Salon du Meuble, as part of a vast buyer programme that constitutes a genuine decision-making tool.
As stated by Pierre Boy de la Tour, the COSP's Managing Director, Our will is to place the visitor at the heart of the programme. In this context, the work carried out in collaboration with the FNAEM contributes greatly to attracting visitors and therefore meeting the expectations of exhibitors. This is a key component of the overall programme "set up for next edition".
The FNAEM will promote the aforementioned trade sections of the Salon du Meuble to its members and will be present at one of the exhibition's stands to greet these members, whom it hopes will come in droves. |
