Heimtextil brand by Messe Frankfurt, will be held from 18 – 21 March 2009 in Guangzhou, China. The venue, the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, is the largest fair ground in Asia. The show will feature 200 exhibitors in an exhibition area of 20,000 sqm.
Under the umbrella of the “23rd China International Furniture Fair”, seven home-related trade events will be held around the same time to attract thousands of designers, merchandisers and trade buyers. Held concurrently with Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China are the China International Furniture Fair, Homedecor & Housewares China, China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair and China International Ceramics Exhibition.
China has long been the largest home textile product manufacturer in the world. Meanwhile, the provinces of Guangdong and Zhejiang continue to be the fastest-growing export regions, maintaining a 20% growth year-on-year. Zhejiang alone accounts for nearly 27% of the total home textile export of the nation. Located ideally in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong province, Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China will showcase pavilions from major manufacturing clusters of Zhejiang province, namely Yuhang, Jiaxing, Shaoxing and Tongxiang. Buyers will have an exceptional opportunity to source the most trendy and popular products from Chinese key players in the industry.
In addition to a series of forums and seminars on hot topics as discussed by the industry, a Home Textile Product Design Competition will be held to encourage creativity and furnish ambience. The competition will serve as an ideal platform for exchange and learning about the latest trends.
