The New Address for International Istanbul Fashion Fairs: CNR EXPO!
 IF Council, 14 sector associations representing the Turkish Ready-to-Wear Sector and ITKIB, Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Association, have merged their forces in order to transform Istanbul into a global fashion center. These two organizations have decided CNR EXPO Istanbul to be the only address for the International Istanbul Fashion Fairs. |
International Istanbul Fashion Fairs, which will be held separately during Winter and Summer, bear unique importance in regards to being one of the platforms that is able to achieve our country’s performance at a world-class level. The goal of the synergy created by the power unity of the IF Council and ITKIB is to facilitate new international business connections and increase international trade, starting from the fair to be organized in February 2007.
Comprised of the Executive Board and service professionals, the Work Group has begun to tackle issues such as content, shape, targets and application of 9th International Istanbul Fashion Fair to be held at CNR EXPO between February 8-10, 2007. These are planned to be concluded by mid-October, followed by the implementation of promotional and activity programs to be applied in national and international channels.
IF Council & ITKIB’s co-operation has led to a tender to decide on the organization company of the fairs. With its remarkable experience and the marketing & media power, CNR has been chosen as the organizer of this Mega Event.
With the previous versions bearing the name Istanbul Fashion Festival, CNR’s fashion fairs positioned themselves at the very heart of the fashion world. Fashion Festivals structured a veritable platform for connecting and transmitting the best of the trends and labels.
And now with the support of IF Council “9th International Istanbul Fashion Fair” will be the one and only Fashion Fair in Turkey.
