International Top Teams at Hairstyle 2009
15 and 16 February. Two dates that are already highlighted in red in lots of agendas. Because that's when HAIRSTYLE will be opening its doors again at Kortrijk Xpo! Preparations for this Benelux hairdressing event are in full swing to guarantee a stunning edition with an impressive programme of shows, dozens of workshops, demos on stands, new products, focus on the green theme and a look ahead at the hairdressing salons of the future. Not forgetting the business rendezvous with 165 exhibitors and the convivial networking with colleagues of course.
DAZZLING SHOWS AND THE LATEST TRENDS IN HAIRSTYLES
The stage for the 2009 edition will be extremely international in essence. Three inspiring shows are programmed each day where the latest Spring/Summer looks will be  presented. The programme will be highly exclusive and again will include the absolute top international players in the hairdressing sector. And for the first time, Kortrijk will welcome the following international teams, who will be bringing us the crème de la crème of their styles: the American Paul Mitchell World Artistic Team, the French master of the chignon Haute Couture Alain Padiglione and the Dutch Farouk Artistic
Team with Richard Jordan, Patrick Kalle and Cor Bouw. Top of the bill and after an absence of four years is the TONI & GUY British Artistic Team who are back in Belgium! The quality and inspiration of the shows created by this team need no introduction! These international names will be complemented by creations from our very own back yard: the presentation of the Belgian Spring/Summer Impact collection of UBK/UCB and a sparkling show from the celebrated Belgian William de Ridd r. 12 Look & Learn sessions unveil the mystery behind the cutting and dying techniques used to create the hairstyles in the show. New this year are the Beauty Workshops where hairdressers learn to harmonise make-up, haircut and colours with the faces of their clients. The Beauty Workshops will take place once a day in the Look & Learn forum and are also included in the price of the entrance ticket.
NEW: GREENOVATION and SALON OF THE FUTURE
Natural beauty and organic cosmetics are the very latest beauty attitude. For a great number of markets organic & natural is the latest trend and the hair cosmetics sector shows no sign of lagging in this. The natural trend is enjoying enormous growth and an increasing number of suppliers in the hairdressing sector have responded by introducing a green line of products (products with no ammonia or paraben for instance). The green philosophy or Greenovation will be omnipresent at HAIRSTYLE. There will also be special focus on the theme of The Hairdressing Salon of the Future with impressive 3D presentations.
