New in 2008: Tendence and Collectione together at the beginning of July
'Frankfurt 4 all seasons' presents products for the whole year round
The two Messe Frankfurt consumer-goods fairs, Tendence Lifestyle and Collectione Preview Spring + Summer, will be held in parallel from 2008. The first joint event will take place in Frankfurt am Main from 4 to 8 July 2008. While Collectione Preview Spring + Summer retains its name with no change, Tendence Lifestyle will be known as Tendence Autumn + Winter from 2008. Rounding off the two international trade-fair highlights in the summer will be Taste it!, the experiential gourmet event that, with a variety of activities and demonstrations, is aimed at the specialist trade and consumers with an interest in cooking.

New: Taste it! : a gourmet experience at Tendence Lifestyle 2007
Multisensory indulgence! That’s the motto of a new fair highlight making its debut at this year’s Tendence Lifestyle. Taste it! is the name of this enjoyable, high-experience, action-packed event in Hall 5.0. The event is no longer exclusively a highlight for the retail trade. This year, for the first time, the event will target the end consumer, at specific times. Taste it! offers trade visitors, particularly those from the table and kitchen segment, a practical added benefit, namely clear information and ideas designed to boost in-store product sales.

Tendence Lifestyle: first international order venue for the autumn, winter and Christmas business
# Taste it! – experiential information show for the trade and consumers
Around 3,000 international exhibitors are expected to welcome trade visitors from all over the world at Tendence Lifestyle in Frankfurt am Main from 24 to 28 August 2007. Here, at an ideal time in the second half of the year, professional buyers have the chance to supplement their assortments for the important autumn, winter and Christmas business. In this connection, the unique arrangement of Tendence Lifestyle by worlds of style that perfectly match current consumer trends and behaviour is an important orientation aid for visitors in their search for trendy products.
Tendence Lifestyle: individual homes
Products for an avant-garde lifestyle are to be seen in 'Modern Living' where both new and established manufacturers and designers present design-oriented, innovative and unusual products for all aspects of the modern home, from the living room to kitchen equipment.
At 'Emotion', everything revolves around emotional concepts for the home, from exotic ethnic styles to the classic-modern country-house system. In a sensuous symbiosis, furniture, luminaires, pictures, frames, home textiles, seasonal decorations and products for the modern outdoor living room reflect holistic furnishing concepts.
'Joy' is a host of colourful ideas for gifts and decorations. From enchanting presents to exclusive collector's items, the exhibitors here show gift articles, stationery, toys, handicraft articles, candles, small product series and figurines.
Styling, jewellery and pampering are the main themes of 'Passione' – the world of style with that extra something. Genuine and creative costume jewellery, personal accessories, such as shawls, belts and handbags glitter alongside beauty and wellness products, as well as high-grade arts and crafts.
'Function' puts the emphasis on functional products for the table, kitchen and household ranging from glass, ceramic, silver and metalware to household and kitchen appliances.
The biggest range of products offered by overseas exhibitors at a European consumer-goods show in the autumn is to be at 'Passage', which brings together more than 1,000 overseas companies with home accessories, gift articles and products for the table, kitchen and household.
First-class design presentations at Tendence Lifestyle
As the top international platform for design and products for an individual lifestyle, the elaborate trend shows and prize-giving ceremonies at Tendence Lifestyle also generate important impulses for trade and industry. Following last year's debut, the Personal Shopper concept is back again this year with a new and exciting designer combination. Here, Dutch designer of Indian descent, Satyendra Pakhalé, and 5.5 designers from Paris put the spotlight on their favourite products from Tendence Lifestyle exhibitors in separate, highly individual presentations.
Individual accents will also be set by the approximately 40 young designers – the Talents – who have the chance to show what they can do on exhibition space provided free of charge by Messe Frankfurt in Hall 6.1 (Modern Living) and Hall 8.0 (Passione). Launched in 2001, this promotional programme enables them to present their products, prototypes and small series to an international audience of trade visitors and to test the reaction of the market to them. In this connection, the Talents not only make contact to buyers from all over the world but also, and in particular, to potential manufacturers for their products.
Taste it! – a festival for the senses
New this year is the gourmet event Taste it! in Hall 5.0. 'Touch, try and taste' is the motto under which renowned branded-product manufacturers from the table and kitchen sector, including Kahla, Koziol, Seltmann-Weiden, Stelton and Le Creuset, will be making presentations. With a host of activities, live demonstrations, tips and hints for emotional and innovative product presentations, they will be offering glass, porcelain and ceramic dealers genuine additional value transcending pure product displays. However, it is not only trade visitors who will benefit from the new event: Taste it! will also open its doors to private visitors on two evenings (Friday and Saturday) from 5 to 9 p.m. and thus form an ideal platform for communication between industry, committed dealers and modern consumers.
