From 3rd to 5th September the garden and leisure sector will meet in Cologne for spoga+gafa 2006, the International Trade Fair for Sport, Camping and Garden Lifestyle and the International Garden Trade Fair. Trade visitors from around the world will be able to survey the world's largest and most comprehensive range of offerings, exhibited by more than 2,500 suppliers from about 60 countries. And in order to make it as easy as possible for trade visitors and exhibitors to handle their trade fair preparations, travel arrangements and hotel bookings, this year's event will feature a number of innovations.
Order admission tickets quickly and easily online
Trade visitors have been able to order admission tickets for spoga+gafa quickly and easily at our new online shop since 6th June. To do so, they simply need to register as trade visitors at www.spogagafa.com, after which they can purchase their admission ticket at the online shop and print it out on their printer. The ticket provides visitors with direct admission to spoga+gafa 2006, avoiding any waiting times in the entrance area. The new "spoga+gafa Card" can also be obtained at the e-Shop. For a fee of €59 the card includes the price of admission to the fair on two days, parking, public transport, cloakrooms, a catalogue and catering to the value of €10 and is therefore the perfect all-inclusive package for visitors.
Special offers for rail travel
At this year's spoga+gafa, a cooperation between Koelnmesse and the German railway operator Deutsche Bahn will enable exhibitors, visitors and journalists to travel by train to Köln Messe / Deutz for a special low-priced fare. Trade fair exhibitors, visitors and journalists can purchase a return ticket from a German train station to Cologne (second class) for only €59. This special price is valid for distances up to 300 kilometres, provided that travellers select their trains in advance (a first class ticket costs €89). For participants whose journey to Cologne is longer than 300 kilometres, a return ticket costs €99 in second class and €149 in first class (with trains selected in advance). If a specific train is not selected in advance, the return ticket costs €69 for distances up to 300 kilometres in second class (a first class ticket costs €99), while for distances of over 300 kilometres the prices are €109 in second class and €159 in first class. All journeys must begin from a German train station and trains must be selected in advance for trips on Friday and Sunday. The tickets are valid from 1st September to 7th September, provided the traveller presents an admission ticket, an exhibitor pass, a press pass for journalists accredited to spoga+gafa 2006, or a printed online registration that shows the traveller to be a trade visitor. Tickets can be ordered by calling the sales hotline of Deutsche Bahn GmbH (DB Dialog) on (0)1805 / 31 11 53 (€0.12 per minute from German fixed-line numbers) and mentioning "spoga+gafa 2006". Important information in "spoga+gafa Daily"
For a quick overview of what's happening at spoga+gafa 2006, including daily updates, the "spoga+gafa Daily" is being offered this year for the first time. The trade fair newspaper in both German and English, presented in co-operation with Thalacker Medien, will offer trade fair visitors and exhibitors daily news on the individual segments in the sector, new products, important dates, background reports and everything they need to know about spoga+gafa 2006.
Improved layout for trade visitors
A new structure for the product groups at this year's spoga+gafa will make orientation in the trade fair halls clearer and more accessible than ever before. The various product groups on offer have been assigned their own colours and pictograms, and these will also be incorporated into the signposting at the fair. From planning for the trade fair until the actual visit to spoga+gafa, it will be easier than ever before for our exhibitors and trade visitors from around the world to plan their schedules and find their way around when they arrive.
