Glasgow Art Fair 2008 is back from 27 to 30 March.
Scotland's National Art Fair returns to the heart of Glasgow's city centre for its 13th year.
 Presenting artwork from across all media from over 50 galleries and arts organisations representing more than 1000 artists, the Glasgow Art Fair remains the place to buy, sell and view art with the widest range of contemporary work outwith London.
This year's Fair will feature the largest selection of galleries yet with several international galleries along with ones exhibiting for the very first time in Scotland. Whatever your taste or budget, there will be something to suit with artists on display ranging from household names to emerging talents. Featured artists include Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Joan Eardley, SJ Peploe, Leslie Hunter, John Byrne, Terry Frost, Craig Mullholland, Kenny Hunter, Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Banksy, Dalziel + Scullion and Rosalind Nashashibi. |
Talking Art Programme unveiled
Continuing the commitment to the development of new art patrons, this year's Fair will feature a full programme of lively and informative talks and discussions. Taking place within its dedicated lecture space, Talking Art brings together writers, corporate collectors, lecturers and artists to talk about their approaches to buying, interpreting, making and displaying art. |
