Bentley Scottsdale Presents Phoenix Fashion Week November 13 through 17 2006 - Celebrating Phoenix Fashion
Phoenix, AZ, Sep 28, 2006 - Local industry partners have once again collaborated to bring Fashion Week to Phoenix. The Second Annual Phoenix Fashion Week takes place November 13-17.
Phoenix Fashion Week rolls out the red carpet for its kick-off event, a catered invitation- only fashion industry reception, hosted by Bentley Scottsdale, the presenting sponsor for Phoenix Fashion Week 2006, Monday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bentley Scottsdale Showroom.
The week continues with fashion industry seminars during the day at The Art Institute of Phoenix featuring local area professionals discussing a variety of topics from fashion design and photography to fashion marketing and promotions. Runway fashion shows begin Tuesday night, November 14 with the “Emerging Designer Showcase,” at Axis/Radius nightclub in Scottsdale. Emerging Arizona designers are invited to showcase their latest designs with runway shows featuring models provided by The Agency of Scottsdale.
Wednesday, November 15 the newly remodeled Caleo Resort & Spa hosts Phoenix Fashion Week for its “Local Boutiques Showcase & Trunk Sale” from 7:30-10:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16 from 7:30-10:00 p.m., established designers in Arizona will be given the chance to showcase their designs in runway shows, again at Caleo Resort & Spa. Models for this show will also be provided by The Agency of Scottsdale.
Phoenix Fashion Week continues with events around the Valley including an after-show party at Axis/Radius Thursday night from 11:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. and the re-launch of the Biltmore Fashion Park Friday evening. Phoenix Fashion Week director, Brian Hill, states “It is time to put the Phoenix fashion scene on the map, we have really talented designers right here that need our support.”
