Milwaukee Fashion Week Inaugural Event Cancelled
Milwaukee, Oct 2, 2008 — Milwaukee Fashion Week has been cancelled just 24 hours before the three-day fashion week was scheduled to begin. |
Dear Valued Vendors and Friends of Milwaukee Fashion Week:
 It is with deep regret and sadness that we must inform you that the Milwaukee Fashion Week set to run from October 3, 2008 to October 6, 2008 has been cancelled. Unfulfilled financial commitments and other unexpected issues with sponsors caused this event to no longer be financially viable for us.
Please take any and all actions necessary to cancel your participation or involvement in the Milwaukee Fashion Week.
All of us behind Milwaukee Fashion Week were encouraged by the strong enthusiasm you, and so many others in the city, have shown for this event. A decision regarding the future of Milwaukee Fashion Week has not yet been reached.

We remain hopeful that Milwaukee's progressive fashion scene may still garner a national platform. Should Milwaukee Fashion Week be rescheduled, we will immediately contact you.
