Estethica at London Fashion Week
September 2007 will see the first anniversary of Estethica, London Fashion Week's much-acclaimed platform entirely devoted to the best in eco-sustainable fashion.
 Estethica has been instrumental in raising general awareness and promoting the concept of sustainable fashion within the industry and to the public, proving not just its ethical value, but also its commercial and creative contribution.
Estethica is committed to:
- Fair Trade - production in a safe and social environment.
- Organic - man made, natural and sustainable fibres.
- Recycling - using only pre-existing materials.
 London's reputation as an iconoclastic trendsetter and London Fashion Week’s credentials as one of the most ground-breaking and directional fashion trade fairs guaranties Estethica as the ideal opportunity for sustainable labels to gain mainstream exposure.
London is widely acknowledged to be the European capital and gateway for sustainable fashion. It offers a sophisticated network of like-minded labels, public sensitivity and consumer demand for ecological design being at an all-time high.
The Ecologist will again publish the Estethica guide distributed at the London Fashion Week Exhibition featuring the designers of Estethica, “ at the avanguarde of refashioning the industry “.
Co-curated by Orsola de Castro and Filippo Ricci of From Somewhere and The British Fashion Council, Estethica is located in the LFW Tent at the Designers Exhibition in the Natural History Museum and a dedicated stage to showcase selected designers in rtw Women and Accessories for SS 2008.
