Eurasian Fashion Week new style

The dates for Eurasian Fashion Week, season spring/summer 2009 are defined. One of the most status events of the world of fashion will take place in Yekaterinburg from November, 10th till November, 14th. EFW organising committee keeps accepting applications for participation from designers, that would like to present their collections on the catwalk, in the showroom, and to attend the professional master classes from the leading experts of marketing, merchandising and brand promotion.

This season is going to be real unusual: the project which used to be named as the Ural Fashion Week, has risen on a new level, has grew out of just regional «Ural» and heavily having become stronger in a continental position «Eurasian». Years of preparation and carrying out the Event have shown that the Week has taken it’s place in a world calendar of fashion-events by right, and the talents opened on it’s catwalk, are capable to cause the interest even in the most tempted professionals of the fashion sphere.

The project’s concept has been changed thanks to the fact that the EFW organizers always made the corner-stone of the professional attitude towards Russian design. Besides the showcases, designers have the opportunity for professional growth of their trade-marks, such as: show-room where participants can present their collections to buyers and to potential customers; the unique professional program including a cycle of seminars from well-known experts of the fashion-industry; press briefings and conferences with leading mass-media participation. EFW gives great opportunities for designers that make cloths for kids as well — so some seasons in a row were opened by the special Baby Fashion Day.

Over project’s history the trade-marks from all over Russia and abroad: Ukraine, China, Bulgaria, France, Poland, Latvia, Canada - have taken part in this Event. Rejecting the amateurish point of view on fashion events and being guided Non-regional approach to fashion; EFW organising committee has developed the clear strategy focused on the tough and business approach to design. Result is — hundreds of bought collections, tens of signed contracts with multibrand boutiques, and not the less meaningfull — mark publicity: press-klipping of each EFW season includes not less than 1500 media materials devoted to the Event and it’s participants.

Ural Fashion Week renamed Eurasian Fashion Week

Ural Fashion Week organizing committee starts new fashion-season with great changes: the decision about the project’s renaming and changing the format has been made — the fashion Week changed it’s name to Eurasian Fashion Week, and the producers are planning to run the show on to pads.

This excathedral forum for professionals allows not only to evaluate the sector’s tendencies, but to establish constructive contacts between all concerned market’s participants”.

Ural Fashion Week transformation to Eurasian Fashion Week came up to be the result of it’s every single participant’s development. Professionals of fashion industry, such as well known designers, journalists, buyers, marketing managers have come to conclusion that UFW boiled over one of the status Russian projects and the one that has it’s own spot in world fashion events’ calendar.
