The Arts of Fashion and Entertainment coexist for the second Atlanta International Fashion Week
Atlanta, GA – The Atlanta Fashion Network’s first Atlanta International Fashion Week, which took place in August 2007, was a major success and it’s time to make it happen once again! Atlanta International Fashion Week will be a five-day extravaganza taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center from July 23rd – July 27th, 2008.
Atlanta International Fashion Week is guaranteed to showcase the finest as it pertains to fashion and entertainment. A number of designers, along with other major celebrities, models, and buyers will be attracting a great deal of media attention throughout the week. AIFW will feature informative and entertaining workshops, fashion shows, trunk shows, and nightly events at some of Atlanta’s most popular venues.
Atlanta International Fashion Week was designed to bring together both well-known and independent fashion designers who have begun to define fashion and style in today’s society, and it is sure to provide participants with the opportunity to network with important industry contacts. Partygoers, fashion addicts, and the like will not be disappointed!
Atlanta International Fashion Week was also created to both raise funds and heighten awareness of issues facing today's communities. Partial proceeds will be donated to the MAC Aids Fund and other local charities and foundations.
