AIRTEC 2006, International Aerospace Supply Fair, which takes place from October 17-20, 2006 at the Exhibition Centre Frankfurt, Germany, records a growing number of exhibitors. With nearly 300 exhibitors from 20 nations the fair organizer, airtec GmbH & Co. KG, approaches its goal of achieving 500 exhibitors from 30 nations. This outstanding success of the new fair is not only due to the unique fair concept to originate a global aerospace supply fair in the heart of Europe, but also to the many years of experience in the conceptual design and implementation as well as in the international marketing of technical trade fairs of the event organizer. EuroMold, World Fair for Moldmaking, Tooling, Design and Application Development celebrating its 13th anniversary in 2006 exemplifies the organizer’s specialized skills. AIRTEC, too, is well on its way to becoming a similar success story in the sector of international technical trade shows.
AIRTEC is a unique fair and distinguishes markedly from any other airshow. This exhibition meets exactly the needs of reorganization of the international aerospace supply industry. Suppliers from the 2nd and 3rd tier level are in the center of interest of AIRTEC, suppliers of the 1st tier level exhibit with their purchasing power, too. AIRTEC is filling a gap in the international exhibition environment of airshows because never before there has been a specialized fair covering the entire supply chain from
engineering to production, components and systems, lifecycle support to safety and security. The composition of exhibitors and the participation of most diverse medium-sized enterprises are a novelty.
A variety of companies operating in the field of engineering, software, testing, machines, tooling, raw materials, surface treatment, composites, semi-manufactured production goods, systems and components, cabin equipment, documentation, logistics, service and maintenance, repairs, training, ground equipment and machines, sensors, security and safety, measurement engineering meet a highly qualified audience and decision makers.
Transparency, variety and the compound of many small-, medium-, and large-sized enterprises of the entire aerospace supply chain make AIRTEC a worldwide unique and important trade show and an exclusive and incomparable world meeting point for the entire industry.
AIRTEC consequently offers new prospects and future perspectives for the supply industry and supports all new requirements of the branch. AIRTEC is located in Frankfurt in the heart of Europe near the Rhein-Main airport which encourages AIRTEC’s internationality. The number of foreign exhibitors with a percentage of 35% is particularly high for a new trade show and a percentage of at least 45% of both, foreign exhibitors and foreign visitors, are expected to be achieved. 15,000 specialized visitors of
45 nations are expected, among them important decision makers of the purchasing departments of OEM’s and system suppliers, purchasing agents of the entire supply chain, project managers, developers, experts of production and manufacturing, staff of aircraft manufacturers, engine manufacturers, aircraft companies and aerospace institutions.
AIRTEC will be inaugurated by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany
The high appeal of this unique exhibition concept of a specialized trade fair for the international aerospace supply industry in the centre of Europe and the high international attendance, particularly of small-sized enterprises induced the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany to inaugurate the first AIRTEC in 2006. Mrs. Dagmar Wöhrl, Parliamentary Secretary of State at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, inaugurates AIRTEC on October 17, 2006.
Top-class conference with international board council originated
AIRTEC 2006 will be accompanied by the top-class practice-oriented conference “Supply on the wings”. The two-day-conference features the following topics:
